Given the demanding timeframe of a v1.1 December release we wondered out of the gate, “what are the lowest hanging fruit?” The question solicited a UI/UX audit of the existing platform which, when we arrived had over 15 loading spinner variations.


With the audit, we found numerous opportunities for improvement. It was clear that consistency and a repurposable/flexible system would be greatly beneficial for the team of 10+ developers and 12+ business and marketing professionals. Other insights precluded that navigation, content digestibility, hierarchy of information, education, onboarding, etc. could be revised or even reconsidered. So we began building out a repurposable system.






Day by day, we uncovered new gaps to capitalize on across Torqata. The tire industry is quite complex so the knowledge depth around running a tire business was even more crucial than we had thought. We conducted interviews to better understand what users hoped to uncover about their business with the platform as we made key improvements to the core experience.
